Christmas is over. It’s time to begin
the clean up.

fast and feel better after Christmas?
Start the day by squeezing half a
lemon into a glass of water. This will help flush toxins from your body. There
is also the added benefit of the high vitamin c contained in lemons.
Let’s then continue with what is the best way to lose weight fast, - a sensible
breakfast:
Have a mug of detox tea with
breakfast- rolled oats for their cholesterol lowering properties, egg whites as
they’re a high quality, fat free protein source, pinch of Himalayan salt for
its electrolyte balance and top with berries for their antioxidants and vitamin
C content.
In between meals drink lots of
water. Try to get a minimum of 3 litres in to really flush things out
.
Include at least a cup of green vegetables in every meal.
Cabbage: for its antioxidant properties and high
vitamin c and fibre content. This is a wonderful vegetable to cleanse your
liver and also has an effect in lowering cholesterol.
Broccoli: has the same
properties and also a high iron content.
Asparagus; fibre, trace
minerals and also has anti inflammatory properties.
Kale, celery and spinach
are others to add to the list. They can help detox the kidneys and flush out
the system.
Herbs and spices – definitely a best hangover cure!
Ginger- add it to
everything! It’s fantastic for your digestion and liver function.
Garlic- has wonderful
properties which help boost your immune system- plus, it can add flavour to a
dreary meal.
Cayenne pepper- a
metabolic stimulant, an anti-inflammatory and can help regulate your blood
sugar levels.
Before Bed
Have some sort of fibre like
psyllium or flaxseed in water. You can mix it with some vital greens, (all
these are available from the health food section at the supermarket). The fibre
will bind to the toxins and help carry them out of your body. You’ll wake up
